Request money via payment link - credit/debit card

Main Post:

Hi,

I used to be able to request money from people without revolut and they could use the link to pay via credit/debit card.

Now when i create the payment request, they have only "Join Revolut to send" option... Is there any way around that?

It's pretty stupid to lose function like that, it was really handy.

Top Comment: OMG that's a HUGE and horrible change!! Main reason for me to use R

Anyone actually made money from affiliate links without a big following?

Main Post:

I’ve tried a bunch of affiliate programs before but always got stuck. Either I didn’t get approved, or I’d share links and nothing would happen. Was about to give up, but I randomly added this extension and website (it’s called Chirpyest) and shared a couple affiliate links in a hobby group I’m in. Somehow ended up getting a report that I had made a small commission a couple days later, which surprised me.

Not saying it’s life-changing money, but it made me wonder. Has anyone else found small, low-effort ways to make affiliate stuff work without being a big influencer or building out a whole blog? Or is what I did the way you are supposed to do it.

Would love to hear what’s worked (or hasn’t) for you.

Top Comment: Yes - I see it genuinely all of the time. It comes down to high-ticket goods that have a viable market on social media. Your content is being sent to a specific group (check your insights regularly), so try to tailor your offerings to match your audience.

Eli5: how exactly does my clicking on a link to a website turn into money for the website’s owner?

Main Post: Eli5: how exactly does my clicking on a link to a website turn into money for the website’s owner?

Top Comment: It doesn't. In fact, by default, it incurs a very tiny cost (fractions of a penny) because their server load increases by that much. But if the website has ads and you load one of them, they may be paid by the ad company a small amount just by you visiting and seeing the ad. And of course, if the website is a business of any kind, once you are there you might buy something.

Is Linkvertise worth it?

Main Post:

Hi, I want to start making some money with link shorteners like Linkvertise. Would it be worth the time, if you have a good amount of web traffic? My concern is, that most peolple will use bypassers or won ́t reach the destination page. Any experience?

Top Comment: I've made a couple hundred dollars over the past couple months from around an hour or so of work. It's good, but it pays very low. The YouTube channel I use gets 250-350 views/day atm but I'm only getting $0.30-1 a day. I had a day where I made $8, but that was because a premium user watched an hour long ad or something. Overall, if you can provide traffic, you can make decent money. I can send proof of money made if needed

Earn money with link

Main Post:

I have a decently sized social media account, where I upload memes / shitposts. I currently have a linktree link in my bio with has 231.5k lifetime views and 130k clicks (3ish years). I am looking to turn those views & clicks into money. A long time ago I remember having an app where you would be offered a certain amount of money per app that someone would download using your link, have tried to find it again but had no luck. If anyone has any ideas on how best to turn that into a passive income I would be very grateful.

Top Comment: Try affiliate marketing or CPA networks like MaxBounty which pay for app downloads. You can also monetize with sponsored posts or use link shorteners like ShrinkMe.io for extra income.....

Do any medium sized creators (100k+) make money from affiliates / amazon links?

Main Post:

I know this is highly dependent on vertical, however I'm seeing more and more amazon / geni.us links in descriptions and wondering if it's actually worth the time to look into.

Top Comment: I have 20k subs and make 200ish a month on affiliate links. Not getting rich but it's decent pocket money

how much money do you get paid for inserting a link in your post?

Main Post:

Hello,

I am quite new and just have a travel blog for 1,5 years. Recently I have been ranked higher on seo and I try to write more useful content to improve it. all my posts are in english and german.

Lately I received a request about how much I charge to implement a link in one of my posts or on the website.

I know that it really depends on your traffic and the quality of your posts but I have absolutely no idea yet about what to charge, neither did I think about a concept.

Can you write me your honest experiences with it? E. G. How many words you write and how much you ask for integrating a link? Is the link there for the lifetime of the post or do you limit it to a time period (e.G. 2 years?)

Thank you for your replies

Top Comment: Its lifetime. Starts from $30 some even ask $300. Ask extra if you write the article, they can also supply article.

Does anyone actually make money with affiliate links on Pinterest?

Main Post:

I have a Pinterest page with around 50K monthly views, but I’ve never made any money from the affiliate links I post.

Is anyone successfully earning through affiliate marketing on Pinterest? If so, what strategies are you using? Are there any common mistakes that might be preventing conversions?

I’d love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have!
